Binding tight and appears little read, no annotations or inscriptions; slight yellowing but text and music bright and clear throughout. Includes: Hamilton Tighe (poetry from the Ingoldsby Legends, music by George Fox) is arranged for piano and soprano, bass and chorus with lyrics; the Wreck of the Hesperus (words by Longfellow, music by Thomas Anderton) is arranged for piano, solo voices and chorus with words; Alcestis (words by Euripedes and music by Henry Gadsby) is arranged for piano and voices with words.
