By means of this Society large numbers of children have been rescued from criminal & vicious surroundings, from the almost certain fate of a future of dishonesty & vice, & have become honest & honourable men & women and useful members of society. | During the past year alone 1290 children have come within the beneficent operations of the Society. it was recently ascertained that of the children rescued by the Society & placed in Industrial Schools during the last 12 years, nearly 90 per cent were known to be doing well . | Help is urgently needed .".
