Mit Leisten und Riemen umzugehen lehrte ihn niemand . Und Felek hatte gehandelt, als der feiste Rzepolski einen alten Arbeiter ohrfeigen wollte. Er ward Freiwild der zaristischen Häscher. Doch Felek hatte auch mächtige Freunde, Freunde wie den alten Scibor, dessen Worte sich fest in sein Herz eingruben: Die Arbeitsleute sollten eine große Vereinigung bilden . zusammen, alle zusammen." Menschen wie Felek führen heute in den Reihen ihrer jüngeren Genossen das neue Polen einer lichten Zukunft entgegen."
