Der Autor hat am Beispiel des Voll-Vorwärts-Fließpressens Standmengenuntersuchungen zur Erfassung von Einflußgrößen au…f den Werkzeugbruch durchgeführt, worüber in dieser Publikation berichtet wird. Zur statistischen Absicherung der Ergebnisse wurden pro Versuchsparameter fünf gleichartige Werkzeuge geprüft; das bedingte einen Versuchsaufwand von ca. 600 000 gepreßten Teilen. Parallel zu diesen experimentellen Untersuchungen wurde der Voll-Vorwärts-Fließpreßvorgang mit der Finite-Elemente-Methode simuliert. Die vorliegenden Ergebnisse können zur Optimierung von Fließpreßwerkzeugen für das Voll-Vorwärts-Fließpressen mit kegeliger Schulter bezüglich des Bruchverhaltens dienen. Sie stellen damit einen Beitrag zur Erhöhung der Fertigungssicherheit und der daraus resultierenden Wirtschaftlichkeit für das technologisch wichtige Verfahren der Kaltmassivumformung dar.
