Dark blue spine and spine-margins with heavy wear with chips to spine-ends with a few losses - the spine is colour-faded to a greyish mottled shade o/w pages clean and tidy. Wear to boards' corners which are worn to card. Page-edges browned and greyed, name ink stamp to flyleaf, to colour frontispiece. Colour title page becoming detached. Errata note bound in to preliminary pages.

'Worshipful Company of Clothworkers' bookplate and previous owner's name on front pastedown. Light spots of foxing noted on several of the pages, which are otherwise clear, and binding is sound. LW.
