It is illustrated with many black-and-white illustrations by several popular artists. The book was published by D. Appleton & Company in 1927 and appears to be a First Edition but is not specifically stated as such. It's not an ex-library copy and the book is in good + condition but has no dust jacket. The book is 6 1/2" by 9 1/2" and has 275 pages with a Table of Contents, leading the reader to several short stories written by such authors as Florence Hoatson, Lady Baden-Powell, Rudyard Kipling, Ridgwell Cullum, Ianthe Jerrold, Marjorie Bowen , and others. It also has some nicely done black-and-white illustrations.
