Small patches of moisture damage to the edges of the upper board. Top fore-corners are bumped. All corners have light wear. Colour on the top edge of the text block is faded. Fore-edge if a bit soiled. Gift inscription dated 1929 on the front free endpaper. A couple of pages inside have tiny dog-eared corners. Otherwise, inside pages have occasional light soil but are clean overall. The dust jacket has very heavy edge wear, with paper loss, creases and tears.
