Il libro ebbe successo, continuamente ristampato almeno fino alla quinta tiratura datata 1986. Munari tutto di carta n. 822. Prima edizione in prima tiratura Ottimo esemplare pregiato da invio autografo della curatrice del libro: «A Paolo, con questa bella penna! Patrizia S. | 27/10/83».
