Aggiungi al carrelloCouverture rigide. Condizione: Comme neuf. Edition originale. London 1999. Edition of 1000 Signed and numbered. Hardback. 23 x 14,5 cm . ------ 320 pages. ******************** "" This collector's edition of the cult classic Snowblind about the exploits of legendary cocaine smuggler Zachary Swan has been designed by Damien Hirst. It is an edition of 1000 and comes in a special slip case featuring a collage of reproduced dollar bills. This hardback has been created using reinforced mirrors for the boards of the book and inside there is a metal credit card as a bookmark made in the style of an AmericanExpress card. The title page of this edition is numbered and signed by the collaborators Damien Hirst, Howard Marks and Robert Sabbag. Inside the book, a unique die-cut trench runs through the pages that feature Zachary Swan's most daring import/export scams, and inside this trench hides a real rolled up $100 bill. The final three digits of the note, which were specially secured from the US Treasury, correspond to the number of the edition. For example, book number 831 from the run of one thousand has numbers 831 as the last digits of the $100 bill. "" ****************************.

Aggiungi al carrelloFirst edition, number 359 of a limited edition of 1,000 copies signed by Hirst, Sabbag, and Marks on the title page. Damien Hirst was responsible for the design of this stylish edition of Sabbag's account of the career of cocaine smuggler Zachary Swan, first published in 1976. Details such as the metallic bookmark designed to mimic an American Express card, with account name Zachary Swan, add novelty. Inside the book, a hidden die-cut well hides a rolled up $100 bill, a nod to Swan's smuggling of cocaine. The final three digits of the notes, specially secured from the US Treasury, correspond to the number of the edition. Notorious cannabis smuggler Howard Marks writes the introduction, drawing on his own experience in the trade. Octavo. With metal bookmark designed to look like an American Express credit card and a rolled-up $100 bill which fits into a die cut well in the centre of the book. Original glass mirror boards with silver spine, spine lettered in blind, illustrated endpapers, silver foiled edges. With original illustrated slipcase. A fine copy in fine slipcase.
