Second Draft script for the 1959 season 1, episode 11 of the 1959-1960 CBS television series, which aired on December 3, 1959. Copy belonging to actor Nick Dimitri with the pencil annotation of his character's name "Carlos" and "Alex Dimitri" (Nick Dimitri also went by the name Alex Dimitri) written on the front wrapper, and manuscript pencil annotations of Dimitri's name under the cast listing on the Call Sheet, as well as dialog and set changes to his character on page four. The script also appeared to be used by actor Brett Pearson, with manuscript ink annotations on six pages (21-26) calling out each appearance of his character, Freddie. "The Betty Hutton Show" premiered on CBS on October 1, 1959 and ran for 30 episodes till May 5, 1960. Originally entitled "Goldie," the series revised the the title when it ran in syndication. Betty Hutton stars as Goldie, a showgirl turned manicurist who inherits $60 million and three children when her millionaire customer, Mr. Strickland, dies. Teenager Pat, played by Gigi Perreau, decides to study art with a bunch of beatniks in Greenwich Village, in spite of Goldie's objections. Blue titled wrappers, noted as Rev. on the front wrapper, dated October 8, 1959. Title page present, dated October 8, 1959, noted as SECOND DRAFT, with credits for screenwriters Laurence Marks and Ed Jurist. 42 leaves, with last page of text numbered 39. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good plus, bound with three gold brads.
