One can see that there has been mending effected to the spine surface and joints (which were cracked). Cover edges are considerably worn, with chipping, nicks, tears, and small loss. The front cover surface is fairly clear, while the back cover has weathering, mild staining and what seems to be a bit of foxing. Text-block edges are darkened. BINDING : One can easily see that the binding has been mended at its hinges, however, while the leaves open widely, no leaves are detached or loose. INTERIOR : Scattered foxing and or spotting (most obviously on those leaves closest to the covers); weathering along the edges; soft bumps to corner tips, with dog-eared tips scattered through. Paper is toned. There are a few pencil erasures, else the interior is free of marking. As I said above, the issue is rough but quite serviceable.…
