Our book is in very nice condition for its age, protected by the original pink dust jacket, itself protected in a clear plastic cover, and showing almost no signs of age apart from some fading to the spine, and a small chip to the top rear spine angle. The book itself, bound in intensely green cloth with a gilt tree on the front and title etc in gilt on the spine, is in 'very good' condition externally, and inside is firmly bound with clean, bright pages, eight full-page colour illustrations, and nine other illustrations in the text. Title page printed in black and red within a charming border of household items. Ink-written birthday greeting on front fep.
