The Limited Edition Club picked up the Christmas legacy and printed their own edition in 1934 for subscribers to receive in December. Bearing the fingerprints of the Arts and Crafts movement, this copy is bound in paste paper decorated with Christmas trees and features Gordon Ross' playful hand-colored watercolor illustrations. Limited to 1500 numbered copies signed by the illustrator, of which this is 1373. Small spot of soiling to front board, owner bookplate to front pastedown, still fine, in near fine publisher's slipcase. Green buckram spine over decorated paste paper boards, housed in publisher's slipcase. Signed.
