From the collection of illustrated juvenile fiction (1890- 1930) of Brian Mills (ÕThe DreamerÕ) (1939- 2011). He left no signs of of his ownership but they are distinguished by their excellent bright condition in a genre that often shows up rather wornÉhe was known to constantly upgrade his collection. Author's note describes how this is a fictionalised true story of the Auckland Islands' shipwreck. The ship was the Dundonald. Slight rubbing and corners slightly bumped, otherwise very good. Prize label on the front pastedown, dated 1916.
