Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. 1st Edition. reprint hardback book in very good condition with dust jacket in very good condition. It is ex-library with a cancelled stamp on the fep and a pocket in the back, clean cream pages, clean red boards. The unclipped dust jacket in removable plastic sleeve has no marks. Excellent b&w drawings. The Haverard children from Cove House plus Kitson and Spurrier cousins discover an old music pavilion tucked among the old outbuildings at the back of Kitsons - and they decide it must be saved from demolition and brought back to life as a place for music. Elfrida Vipont was a Quaker and her lovely, gentle stories of Quaker families have done a lot to demystify the religion. The characters are very family-oriented, think deeply about life and still manage to have fun. Music is essential to them.
