All four books were First published by The Folio Society in 1958. Volume I: has 644 pages, Volume II: has 592 pages, Volume III: has 569 pages, Volume IV: has 537 pages. All pages intact in all four volumes, good tight bindings. All pages, text and lovely illustrations are in good, clean, readable order. Set, and bound in Great Britain by Richard Clay & Co. Ltd, Bungay, Suffolk, in Fournier 12 point type, one point leaded. A wonderful set of four volumes published by The Folio Society.

The slipcase is firm but a bit scruffy, and that is the only fault. The book, the important bit, is in brilliant condition. This was so successful it was reprinted many times, but this is the FIRST edition thus, and that means the all important engravings are fresh on the page.
