Publisher's red bevelled cloth-covered boards with decorative art nouveau red stamped designs on the covers, a gilt-stamped title bordered by single gilt ruled lines on the spine, and a gilt stamped title in a white panel and gilt borders on the front cover. A neat former owner's name and address details stamped to the front free end-paper; slightly soft spine-tips and the red spine faded to a lighter hue. Clean internally.
