The earliest memories I have are of my parents driving from our Tulsa home to this grand and beautiful convention, where the spirit of Islam was in the air and the warmth of Iman lit the rooms. My parents would make preparations renting cars, getting maps, arranging food and hotels for a funfilled trip. May Allah SWT reward them. I will never forget those road trips where we sang nasheeds together, ate my mother's baked pies, and had min-halquas in the car. ISNA impacted me in so many positive and life-changing ways, from childhood, through my upbringing, and now raising a generation of my own children. Now four decades later I am still as excited to take my children and family. For me ISNA has been truly a unique life-changing experience which I cherish. I sincerely pray especially for all those sincere pioneer Muslims who sacrificed and invested their time, energy, and money and were lovingly dedicated to establishing and maintaining this organization over the years.
