Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale for further details and condition. VG ( Restoration work - The book was bought in by us as a tight back with the leather to the front hinge failing. In course thereof the old spine lining was removed the spine cleaned- re-glued with p.v.a. new linen mull, Oxford Hollow back strip and new best match green made end papers fitted. The attractive gilt tooled leather previous owner name and date slip has been replaced to the front paste down. One leaf is a little rubbed and prominent at fore edge but is secure in the binding and we have resisted trimming. Occassional marginal soiling and the odd page corner turned but complete with some contemporary newsprint articles loosely laid in including a wonderful advert for Prof. Norton B. Smith's Training Bridle - 2s.6d by Mail Order! No other notable defects). A very heavy tome and regrettably a significant additional charge will need be made for overseas shipping.
