Frontispiece of St Thomas's Hospital, portrait engraving of Philip Ellis, Bishop of Segni (dated 1828 and lightly age-browned, and vignette title page. The original cloth hardback binding is good and tight, with the title in gilt on a black front panel, with a few light marks. Old bookplate of John Tomlinson on front blank end paper and loosely inserted is an 1885 2-page letter to John Tomlinson. Also loosely inserted is the supplement for 1856 for The Hospital of St. Thomas the Apostle. Weight 207g. See photographs attached. (H).
