A selection 150 masterpieces, created from 1905 to 1913, is published in the catalogue on the occassion of a special exhibition held at the Groningen Museum. The catalogue »Duits Expressionisme 1905-1913« presents 150 pieces, among them paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures by the »Brücke« members Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Erich Heckel, Karl Schmidt-Rotluff, Fritz Bleyl, Max Pechstein, Emil Nolde, Cuno Amiet and Otto Mueller. A gift by Karl Schmidt-Rotluff in 1964 started the foundation of the collection and the »Brücke Museum«.
