New York 10th February 1905'. The boards are worn and rubbed and dusty and a little marked. On the blank endpapers, besides the beautiful inscription by the author is another inscription ' To Maggie with lots of love from Denis and Dickie Christmas, 1944. It is really for all of you but we felt as soon as we saw it that it was particularity your book'. Inside the text has the odd fox mark and dirty finger mark but generally very clean and binding solid. A Charming series of poems and drawings relating to cats, similar in style to Louis Wain, and the names of London's back street "mews" with appropriate cat "mewsings", Very "amewsing".
