Eher mäßig guter Erhaltungszustand.Jean Daullé (1703 Abbeville - 1763 Paris). Französischer Kupferstecher. Sohn eines Silberschmiedes. Eine erste Einführung in die Kupferstecherkunst erhielt er von einem dilettierenden Mönch Dom Robart. Später dann war Daullé Schüler von Robert Hecquet in Paris. Seine früheste Arbeit ist ein Porträtstich nach de Troy von 1732. Mit einem Porträt der Catherine Mignard von 1735 erlangte er die Aufmerksamkeit von Hyacinthe Rigaud und wurde von diesem beschäftigt. Mit einem Porträt des Letzteren debütierte er 1742 in der Akademie. Später soll er geschäftsmäßig, eher flüchtig gearbeitet haben.Pierre Charles Lévesque (1736 Paris - 1812 Paris). Französischer Geschichtsschreiber und Radiererdilettant. 1773-80 lehrte er an der Seekadettenschule in Sankt Petersburg. Später lehrte Lévesque an dem Collège de France. 1795 wurde er Mitglied der Mitglied der Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres. In der Platte rechts unten signiert: Commencé par J. He primarily made portraits. Worked for Rigaud from 1735. Received at the Académie Royale, 1742. Joseph Vivien (Lyon 1657-1734 Bonn) was a French painter. In good condition, cropped within platemark, some general soiling in the edges and caption below the image. Scattered foxing in the margins and corners of the image area.
