Gift quality, undated (circa 1973) attractive hardcover in pumpkin buckram covered boards with bright gilt spine title, sharp tips and spine ends. No writing, soil or tears in the 64pp sewn in text. Unclipped, and unpriced original dust jacket illustrated with vignettes by Ken Duxbury. There are no illustrations in the book. Jacket has two repaired closed tears and a 1" indentation near the foot of the front panel. Also light rubbing at the lower fore edge of rear panel and a light brown spot at the rear flap fold. Jacket now in new mylar and displays beautifully with sitting yogi and galloping polo player on frt and another polo vignette on the rear dj panel. A collaboration of two young Englishmen as they find themselves spending 55 yrs between them, in India. Speer as a teaplanter in the South and Wilfrid in business that took him from Bombay to Wah. The poems in this book show the development of typical young Englishmen in India.
