Each male nude is superimposed with a sketch from Leonardo's scientific notebooks. Brunenberg appropriates Leonardo's exquisite sketches and poses his full-frontal nude models as though they were interacting with, and in some cases, seemingly completing Leonardo's drawings, in a seamless fusion. One of the most beautiful resulting images is "Camera Obscura", which shows one model taking a photograph of another using Leonardo's imaginary instrument.
