Seine Beschreibungen befassen sich mit schwedischen und lappländischen Lebensgewohnheiten und Bräuchen, Landwirtschaft, Sehenswürdigke…iten, Bergwerkbesuchen etc. Die Kupfer zeigen u. a. das Innere einer Lappenhütte und eine Ansicht der Landschaft bei Dalarne. - II: Auszug aus Sumarokoffs Reisen auf die Krim mit Nachrichten über Slatopol, Niolaew, Cherson, die Salzseen von Perekop, Jalta, Odessa u. a. - Schmidts Reisebericht endet auf S. 290, danach folgt mit weitergehender Zählung Paul Sumarokovs Reise durch die Krimm und Bessarabien. 8°.
