["Jean Jacques Ipsen (1857-1936), dansk anarkist, født Johannes Jacobus i 1856 som søn af en præst i Nr. Broby på Fyn.,.,.Ipsen vendte tilbage til Købehavn i 1899 - for at afsone 1 måneds fængsel for en artikel i «Social-Demokraten».,., Sammen med den norske anarkistiske forfatter Hans Jæger startede han i 1907det anarkistiske ugeblad «Korsaren», som ikke fik nogen lang levetid, hvad dets efterfølger «Revolten» heller ikke fik. I første nummer af Revolten bragtes et særdeles velvilligt digt af Andersen-Nexø om malersvenden Sophus Rasmussen, som havde tilhørt den ganske lille danske anarkistkreds omkring Korsaren, og som i november 1907 havde skudt en politibetjent der ville anholde ham og derpå sig selv i desperation over konstant politichikane. I de følgende år var Ipsen en tid ansat på avisen «København» og skrev sporadisk i «Solidaritet». Bl.a. en artikelserie om den franske bombeanarkist Ravachol, og en serie der udkom som pjece: « Valgsvindelen. Valgret under Staten. Arbejde under Kapitalen», og han var en flittig medarbejder ved de skandinaviske ungsocialistiske blade - «Den røde Krig» i Danmark, «Revolt» i Norge og «Brand» i Sverige.
