They look very clean. The gilt lettering on the spine is nicely bright. There is only a little bit of crinkling at the spine ends. The cover edges and corners are in excellent shape. The page edges have a small number of little specks. They have no impact on the actual pages. The blank front end paper has a thin tan vertical line next to its juncture with the front inside cover. The rear inside cover is very slightly tanned. The blank rear end paper has a tiny tan spot and a little crease at its bottom corner. The binding of the book is solid. There is a thin space at the juncture between pages 160 and 161. These two pages are at the middle of the book and one might suspect that the book was left lying open there. Nevertheless, both pages are tightly bound from top to bottom, and all the other pages in the book are nicely, tightly bound at their junctures, as are the covers. The pages are very clean. Scrolling through, I'm not finding any instances of soiling. There are no markings. No attachments of any kind. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. The dust jacket is in pretty good shape. It has a little crinkling off the top and bottom edges of the spine The previous owner also forgot to put sunscreen on the spine. Still, it changed into a pretty color. Some of those similarly colored lines you see on the rear cover appear as well to have been affected by exposure to sunlight. On the rear cover there is a little nick/tear that you should be able to see in the third photo. There are no edge tears on the jacket. The flaps are in very good condition, no issues. The jacket is not priced or clipped. It will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned. I have priced this book well below the few other dust jacketed non-library hardcovers for sale on the Internet.
