This book written by Dr Hogg's daughter gives detailed account of how the Sikh Prince wrote to Hogg asking him to find him a suitable Christian wife. After the Maharajah returned from Bombay Hogg conducted their wedding service in June 1864. 8 illustrations including one of Bamba. original red cloth with gilt titles. early ink ownership inscription of Douglas [?] of the Pittsburgh Seminary, 1926. light foxing to title page otherwise a nice copy.
