Aggiungi al carrelloFull-Leather Style Binding. Condizione: Fair. 1st Edition. by John Taylor, John Alfred Moxey, and Robert Osgood First Edition 1913 Published on The Isle of Wight in 1913 by W. Bro. F. W. Sargent of 177, High Street, Ryde. This is the First Edition of this history of the East Medina Lodge and Freemasonry on The Isle of Wight, bound in the publishers full leather binding, page edges gilded all-round, the main body of the text runs to 148 pages with illustrations, just under 9 inches tall, bound in at rear is the twelve page programme for the East Medina Lodge Centenary Celebration meeting and banquet at Ryde Town Hall on Wednesday September 10th 1913, also bound in at rear is the 30 page Minutes of Proceedings at the 1913 Annual meeting, and bound in at the end are nine tipped in real photographs of various East Medina Lodge Parades I don't know whether these photographs were included in other copies of the book, or if they are unique to this copy an online search revealed only one copy located in any of the main institutional library collections, and that is a copy held by The University of Southampton Library, and their description does not give any detail of the content of their copy, the binding is showing some obvious signs of wear, the spine is no longer attached to the book, a significant part of the spine covering is loosely inserted in the book (see picture) so this would help if book was to be restored internally noticeable foxing to a few page edges, though the main body of the contents are generally quite clean, pencilled notes to one page the paper that the rear tipped in photographs are mounted on is heavily foxed, else in good acceptable condition A GOOD ACCEPTABLE EXAMPLE OF THIS VERY SCARCE BOOK NO OTHER COPIES FOR SALE AT TIME OF LISTING AND POSSIBLY UNIQUE WITH THE ADDED REAL PHOTOGRAPHS.
