A lost-world tale following a group of young adventurers to Kisnia, the Kingdom of the Smoking Mountains, in Tibet. There they discover the inhabitants are descendants of the ancient Greeks, and attempt to prevent a mass rebellion against the monarch. Written by D. Lawson Johnstone, a Scottish author best known for his young adult novels. In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd mark to the boards. Minor fraying to the head of the spine. Hinges starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd handling mark. Minor age toning to the endpapers. Good. book.
