One of 300 copies on Lana royal pur fil, numbered C1 to C300 in pencil, printed for the series Club Noir Soleil, in the slipcase with an equivalent numbered etching, signed by Konrad Klapheck. From a complete stated run of 1,399 [actually 1,599] numbered copies with the first 99, on the same paper, integrated into a ?livre-object' with a suite of 7 signed, numbered etchings by Trovar, on ve?lin de Rives, in a ?tableau-multiple' in wood designed, numbered and signed by the same artist, coloured by Atelier Jacomet. Plus 1,200 copies on ve?lin de Lana numbered 301-1500. Provenance: from a good collec- tion of erotica with a phallic bookplate pasted in, to Julio Mario Santo Domingo with the ?opium smoke ' variant of his book- platedesignedbyPierreLeTan. Jose? Pierre's sole erotic novel that namechecks the libertine classic ? The?re?se philosophe ', a work that was included with great admiration in the BnF's groundbreaking catalogue of their Enfer on the last page. Klapheck's print is perverse in a Picabian or maybe a Duchamp- ian way depicting a hose connected to two taps with an open nozzle. 243541.
