Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (illustratore). 2nd Edition. Quoting from the flap of the dust jacket: "For Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, painting was, first of all, a way of living. Thus, he brought to his art a zest for life as well asan impeccable style. It is an exciting discovery to find that Lautrec applied this same exuberance and meticulous technique to the art of cuisine--that he invented recipes and cooked new dishes as an artistic creation worthy of his serious attention." A book of recipes, presumably by Toulouse-Lautrec presented with decorations including his paintings as appropriate and countless smaller drawings. French Art or French Soup; it will be difficult to avoid getting drawn into this book. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket shows some minor edge wear, mainly faintly rolled edges and some small instances of light soiling. The hard covers are clean and bright with some very minor bumping to the corners and spine tips. Inside, the book is unmarked although there is a shadow on the front endpaper probably from the acids of the binding glues. The interior pages and many drawings and reproductions are clean and bright, without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
