Page, Geoffrey [Alan Geoffrey Page, DSO, OBE, DFC & Bar (16 May 1920 - 3 August 2000) was an officer in the RAF who served during the Second World War. He participated in the Battle of Britain, and was shot down. He was badly burned when his aircraft was destroyed, and was lucky to survive. He underwent many surgeries on his way to recovery, and was a founding member of the Guinea Pig Club. He eventually passed a medical exam and returned to active service, becoming one of Britain's most successful fighter pilots]. Illustrations by Frank Wootton (30 July 1911 - 21 April 1998) was an aviation artist, famous for his works depicting the Royal Air Force during the Second World War.

Bowman, Humphrey [Humphrey Ernest Bowman (26 July 1879 - 23 March 1965) worked in the Education Departments in the British Protectorates in Egypt from 1903 to 1911 and Sudan from 1911 to 1913. He served in the British Army from 1914 to 1918. He became Director of Education in Mesopotamia in August 1918, and left in August 1920 to return to Egypt.
