Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. 1st Edition. First Edition (NAP). As you can see from the photographs, the covers of the book itself are in excellent condition, very clean and not worn at all. The page Edges are very clean. And despite the length of the book (544 pages) it is square and tight and very solidly bound. Beginning at the inside front cover and running through the first 20 pages there is a crease at the bottom of the pages that does not at any time reach the print. After that, it's gone and doesn't recur. There aren't any other creases on any of the other pages as far as I can see. There isn't any writing/underlining anywhere in the book. The pages are very clean. I didn't see any instances of soiling. The pages do show some age darkening. This is entirely due to the type of paper used and would be present in every copy of the book. There are no attachments in the book. There is one marking, a small stamp of the previous owner (Rabbi, scholar and psychoanalyst Alan W. Miller) at the top corner of the front free end paper. The dust jacket has held up quite well. It is NOT price-clipped. The flaps are in very good condition. The jacket has very little soiling. There is a little bit of white 'clouding' on the front cover, less than I saw on the few other copies of the book for sale. The spine is in excellent condition. As you can see from the photograph, the blue color has not faded at all. There are a few instances of minor edge wear, and there is a very tiny loss at the top edge of the rear cover (3rd photo). The dust jacket will be fitted with a protective cover.
