Endearing true story of Juggles the female otter who is rescued from a trap and raised as a pet.

He arrived by train in a tea-chest with the lid nailed down hard. A note was fastened with drawing-pins just inside. It said that I must handle the otter VERY CAREFULLY because he had been badly treated by boys and was FIERCE. I opened the lid gingerly, expecting the otter to fly at my throat. I said: "I won't hurt you" He said: "Go away, I don't trust you.".
