'N.B. Further particulars of the Bills, will be given in a future Advertisement' (also unrecorded). Kendrew, primarily known for his chapbooks, was in business 1803-1841. William Scawin, druggist of York, 1775-1866 married Mary Bland in 1801. He traded in Low Petergate at this time, moving to 57 Petergate in 1829. He retired in 1844, moving to 11, Monkgate, his business being taken over by James Scarwin Tonge until c.1870.
