Im zweiten Kapitel beschreibt er die erzählerische Gattung - von ihren Ursprüngen über die künstlerischen Höhepunkte bis zur vollständigen Zerstörung der in den Ghettogeschichten beschriebenen Welt im 20. Jahrhundert.
