The lyrics were added in 1950 by Ray Gilbert. Singer Rusty Draper is featured on front wrap. Very good condition with some short horizontal tears, two ink-stamps on front wrap.

Kid Ory's Creole Jazz Band was one of the most influentail developments in California jazz. The Royal Room of Hollywood was one of the great jazz clubs until it was destroyed by fire. The cocktail napkins is incribed: "to Lee and Debby, Edward Kid Ory." Verso of cocktail napkin has party girl riding a bottle of liquor for good times, Royal Room, 6700 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood. Photograph by Charlie Mihn of him playing his trombone at a recording session. He had played with Jelly Roll Morton, King Oliver, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman and Charles Mingus as well as Ma Rainey.
