Water damage to upper corner bleeds through to first half of book. Pages show wear from use, however, the binding is secure and tight and a good READING COPY. Charming little picture book featuring a Patsy Ann doll posted in various scenarios - cleaning, doing laundry, going to the beach with her dog Brownie, tea parties with the other dollies, etc. Created in 1927, Patsy was a doll that looked like a real girl and was the first doll to have a wardrobe of dresses and accessories. Opposite the title page, the publishers acknowledge the courtesy of Messrs.
