A lovely bright, clean copy which is signed on the front fly leaf by the author thus: " To G.Dean Esq. With Best wishes, A.E. Kirkby Mar. 1960" The purple boards look very bright and fresh with crisp title lettering to the front board and spine. Internally the pages are lovely and clean throughout with just a touch toning to the end papers. Minor knocking to the corner tips which is hardly noticeable. The dust jacket is clean and not price clipped, although has some chipping, creasing and minor loss at the extremities with a repaired closed tear on the front cover at the top edge. (Repaired inside with acid free, "invisible" tape. Signed by Author(s).
