First edition, first printing, rare, of this highly influential analysis which advanced the crystallization of Japanese antisemitism into a potent ideological force. This work, containing lengthy excerpts from the fictitious Protocols of the Elders of Zion, is located in just four institutions on WorldCat: the National Diet Libr…ary, Waseda, University of Illinois, and University of Sheffield. Kitagami Baiseki (1870-1931, real name Higuchi Tsuyanosuke) worked for the Japanese Army as a Russian instructor. He produced one of the earliest Japanese translations of the Protocols, the present work predating the publication of the first full translation by Yasue Norihiro in 1924. The content is centred on the text of three lectures which the author gave to top politicians in 1921-22. Among other arguments, it claims that the recent Russian Revolution was orchestrated by an international Jewish cabal.
