First American edition, text in English. Friederich's aesthetic is inspired by classical antiquity, reflected in the portraiture and structure of her photographs, which does not diminish however their hauntingly erotic aspect. No previous ownership marks. Book is clean, fresh, unmarked and like new. Dust-jacket complete and clean with no tears or creases save small chip to lamination at lower front cover.
