A Hardback with No Dust Jacket in Poor condition. Stiff brown Card Boards with blue cloth spine. Boards rubbed , spine creased with some fraying to edges. Internally cracked, badly shaken with some loose pages. Hinges just holding. One or two pages torn. Frontispiece a portrait of Viscount Knutsford. There are four other illustrations showing a retriever landing fish. 392 Pages plus 16 Pages of advertisements giving details of the publisher's other titles. Viscount Knutsford studied Law and was called to the bar in 1847. Through his chairmanship of the London Hospital, he did much to improve public health in the East End before WW1.
