Eine besondere Rolle haben darindie Schlüsselakteure inne, da sie sowohl als Interessenvertreter und Informationsvermittlerin der Region auftreten und zudem aufgrund ihres hohen beruflichen bzw.persönlichen Engagements aktiv an der Entwicklung der Region mitwirken. Für eineerfolgreiche nachhaltige Regionalentwicklung ist eine einwandfreie Interaktion undKooperation dieser regionalen und überregionalen Akteure im zweckorientierten,themenbezogenen Netzwerk eine Grundvoraussetzung.Im Rahmen dieser Masterarbeit, erstellt am Fachbereich Geographie und Geologie derUniversität Salzburg im Studiengang Landschafts-, Regional- und Stadtmanagement,wurde sich mit der gegenwärtigen Regionalentwicklung im Lungau, im speziellen mitden geplanten Entwicklungen bezüglich des Biosphärenparks, auseinandergesetzt undeine Netzwerkanalyse der beteiligten Schlüsselakteure der Region durchgeführt.Die Netzwerkanalyse sollte insbesondere darüber Aufschluss geben, ob das bestehendeNetzwerk der Schlüsselakteure in seiner derzeitigen Ausprägung dazu in derLage ist, einen Biosphärenpark zu etablieren und zu tragen, und dabei dessen Zielsetzungeiner nachhaltigen regionalen Entwicklung sowie den Schutz des Lebensraumesumzusetzen. Ziel war es, mit der Beantwortung dieser Leitfrage, zu einembesseren Verständnis über den komplexen Regionalentwicklungsprozess, der gegenwärtigim Lungau abläuft, beizutragen. Im Rahmen dieser Masterarbeit, erstellt am Fachbereich Geographie und Geologie der Universität Salzburg im Studiengang Landschafts-, Regional- und Stadtmanagement, wurde sich mit der gegenwärtigen Regionalentwicklung im Lungau, im speziellen mit den geplanten Entwicklungen bezüglich des Biosphärenparks, auseinandergesetzt und eine Netzwerkanalyse der beteiligten Schlüsselakteure der Region durchgeführt. Die Netzwerkanalyse sollte insbesondere darüber Aufschluss geben, ob das bestehende Netzwerk der Schlüsselakteure in seiner derzeitigen Ausprägung dazu in der Lage ist, einen Biosphärenpark zu etablieren und zu tragen, und dabei dessen Zielsetzung einer nachhaltigen regionalen Entwicklung sowie den Schutz des Lebensraumes umzusetzen. Ziel war es, mit der Beantwortung dieser Leitfrage, zu einem besseren Verständnis über den komplexen Regionalentwicklungsprozess, der gegenwärtig im Lungau abläuft, beizutragen. Dabei sollte nicht ausschließlich das Netzwerk der beteiligten Schlüsselakteure strukturell sowie in seiner zeitlicher Veränderung erfasst und analysiert werden, sondern zusätzlich die Beziehungen der Netzwerkakteure zum geplanten Biosphärenpark Lungau näher beleuchtet werden.
