He took great pride in the growth of the research collections under his care and delighted in sharing the stories of wonderful acquisitions in lectures, exhibition catalogues, and other publications. This volume brings together a selection of these writings chosen and edited by Marie Elena Korey, Richard's wife and partner in his Life in Rare Books.
