Condizione: Used. Step right up, dear reader, and prepare for an experience as bewildering as the title suggests! "Gods Ambassadors," a literary offering from the astute mind of Bertha C Krall, premiered in 1953, a year when the world was still figuring out how to reconcile poodle skirts with post-war anxieties. Published by the illustrious Religious Education Press?because, of course, nothing says spiritual enlightenment quite like a publisher whose name sounds like a group of well-meaning but slightly confused civil servants?this book promises to serve as your guide to divine networking. Yes, you heard that right: it?s like LinkedIn for celestial beings, where the stakes are a bit higher and the dress code is, well, ethereal. Krall, a name that rolls off the tongue like a hymn sung at a slightly off-key church service, seems to presume that her readers are longing for a crash course in heavenly diplomacy. Who knew that navigating divine relations was a thing? In this world of celestial sponsors and heavenly PR campaigns, forget simply praying; it?s all about crafting a compelling elevator pitch for your soul. If you?ve ever wanted to know how to impress a deity or two, well, you might just find yourself engrossed in these pages. But wait! Before you get too carried away with the prospect of rubbing elbows with the Almighty, consider what Krall might have had in mind. Perhaps you?ll encounter charming anecdotes about celestial meetings, or perhaps she?ll reveal the secret recipe for ambrosia?only time will tell! In any case, we can assure you that this title will not win any awards for subtlety. If anything, it boldly declares, ?I am here, and I?m not afraid to echo the sentiments of your Sunday school teacher.? In Krall?s universe, it seems that everyone has a role to play. With her keen insights into the divine hierarchy, you may find yourself contemplating some profound questions, like "Why don?t angels have better job descriptions?" or "Is there a heavenly hotline I can call for advice?" The book may evoke musings that feel simultaneously profound and utterly ridiculous, a fine combination for the serious and the irreverent alike. If you?re ready for a journey through the annals of "spiritual networking," you might just appreciate the following key features of this literary masterpiece: A collection of uplifting platitudes that could rival a motivational poster. A few questionable metaphors that leave you wondering if Krall was channeling divine inspiration or just a really odd dream. Practical tips for establishing rapport with celestial beings?if only they had a presence on social media. A range of anecdotes about divine encounters that may or may not have occurred at all. Footnotes that are more entertaining than the main text, if you can find them. Condition: Used, of course?because who doesn?t love the charm of a well-loved book? The pages are slightly yellowed, giving them a certain vintage flair reminiscent of the dusty church pews you might have sat in during childhood. The spine is creased in places, suggesting that this tome has been flipped through by at least one curious soul, possibly searching for guidance on how to approach an omnipotent being without feeling awkward. The book carries the unmistakable scent of age, mixed with the faintest hint of incense, which might be a delightful placebo effect or just the remnants of a church basement sale. So, if you?re intrigued by the idea of becoming a heavenly envoy or simply want a piece of literature that could spark the most peculiar conversations at dinner parties, look no further. Crappy Old Books is thrilled to present this delightful enigma that is "Gods Ambassadors." Will it enlighten your soul or simply leave you scratching your head? Only one way to find out! Order today and prepare to be baffled, bemused, and perhaps just a little bit blessed.…
