The book is in full morocco leather, with gilt lettering and decorations on the all edges. The book is Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket, but with a clamshell case. The leather binding is in clean, bright condition. The inner rear hinge of the book cover has a bit of a gap. The text pages are generally clean and bright. The endpapers are of decorated paper. Page 95 had been torn out and been repaired. There are illustrations throughout the book, and include both full page illustrations, and decoration to three edges of each of the text pages. All three edges of the text block have gilding. (A. E. G. ) . There is a previous owner's inked notation on the first free page. The slipcase is in Very Good- condition.
