Prima edizione
Soft cover. Condizione: Good. 1st Edition. What we have here is six issues of a serial romance novel that was published in 104 weekly parts. Each issue comprised about 30 or 32 pages of cheaply printed, poor quality paper with a frontispiece drawing (uncredited) and a couple of other smaller illustrations. All issues had the same cover design but had differing color paper. The rear covers carry advertisements for all sorts of things from books on dream interpretation to a feminine hygiene product. The author (who also goes uncredited) might have been the prolific romance and pulp writer, Peggy Gaddis, who went by many pseudonyms including Joan Sherman. Nobody seems to know for sure. These six issues are numbers: 11, 12, 25, 36, 37, 55. Each one has been either stapled or stitched to keep the pages in place. All are pretty brittle on the edges with chips and small tears and general browning. I am willing to split the group and sell individual numbers at $8.50 each - just ask.
