Hardcover. Condizione: Good. No Jacket. 2nd Edition. The first and major poem is called "Virginia Dare, or the Lost Colony of America." The partly invented story told is very interesting, and a "must" collector's item for anyone deeply interested in the Roanoke Island saga. The poetry in general is a well-done example of the sentimental, traditional poetry of c. 1900, with nice illustrations. This book is widely available in various recent, Print on Demand versions, but originals are rather scarce. The cover of this copy is stained and darkened in places and the pages within are yellowed and occasionally foxed. Still, it's a good average copy for its advanced age. One former owner's name in front. 70 pages.
